The primary goal of this group is to streamline the integration of Factory Track with ERP LN. Previously, this process has been time-consuming and often confusing for customers—just adding a single field to a report in BarTender could take an entire day.

To address this, we plan to develop a web service for ERP LN that will utilize a library or a public interface, if available, along with parameters as XML data attached to the SOAP request. This approach will allow us to directly call libraries in LN. To mitigate potential security risks, any called DLL must be whitelisted and/or include a function named "is.web.dll()" that returns true. The DLL function will output XML as a result.

This method offers several advantages: it simplifies implementation for a single individual handling both Factory Track and ERP LN, avoiding unnecessary complexity that can arise from standard approaches. Given that Factory Track is built on the Mongoose platform, it may also be beneficial to make this solution generally available across Mongoose and possibly other platforms. The web service might also be called from totally deifferent platforms
