Dear Team,

I have a requirement to download the daily exchange rates from the UAE Central Bank and update the latest rates in LN CE (Currency Rates Session,tcmcs0108m000 ) against the home currency.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could share any relevant documentation or provide guidance on how to achieve this.

Does the Central Bank have a public API for these purposes?
If so, you can register (and then call) it in the API Gateway.

In API Gateway create custom API to access UAE FX API.

Run MNS260 scheduled job to trigger custom M3 MEC map ⇒ DataFlow in ION.

DataFlow will connect to UAE APIs, retrieve rates, and update rates in M3.

I did such integrations to retrieve rates from www.oanda.com and www.xe.com

Anybody did this for LN from Reuters? (We have SAP as our main ERP currently, and I have been told that there is a daily job which retrieves Exchange Rates from Reuters. We want to replicate this on LN, which is foreseen to be our future main ERP and is currently live on two sites.)

Hi Enrico,

If Reuters has an API to get Exchange Rates then I believe it is possible.
In ION you can create a Data Flow that (based on a schedule) will do an API call to get Exchange Rates and send it to LN.
Integration (via IMS=Infor Messaging Service) between ION and LN is already set up when a new tenant is created.

But, let me double-check with the LN team if it is possible from their side.
