Is there a workaround for approvals when approver is out of office?

Is there a workaround for delegating approvals to an alternate person or group of people when an approver or group of approvers are out of office, or do we have to just expand the group to include all of these people and have some of them ignore the day to day requests?

    Dan,

    Two things to consider.

    1. You can Redistribute a Task in ION. Simply go to Activities, search for the open task, then drill into the task for more details. Then you can click on "Distribution List" and click ADD to change who the task is sent/assigned to.

    2. If users know they are going to be out of office, they should use the out of office feature built into Infor OS. In the Inbox, navigate to the out of office screen. On this screen users can automatically forward any tasks to other users so tasks don't get lost.
