Infor OS usage limts

Depending on the Infor OS limits there is a limit for ION message size and this can be vary from 5 MB to upwards.
Is there Infor recommendation to keep this message less than 5MB for better performance ?

    HI Prabodha , for optimial usage and processing we recommend keeping it 5 MB or below.

    Hi - if we assume you are sending messages from point A to B directly and using BODs then there are techniques like Batch messages that can be used to send large data around - this is where one larger content is split in to a batch of connected messages - these are documented in the ION technical guides available on docs.infor.com

    Of course one very simple option is to make sure you use the compression options when publishing messages - for the content in messages like XML, ND JSON, etc. this can make a huge difference to the size moved.
