How do I change the company logo in document templates?

Hello,

Apologies in advance if this is a newbie question. How do I change the logo that appears in the header of IDM documents? I understand that the logo image is dynamically inserted by IDM into the logo image field in the header of the Word document template, but where does the inserted image come from? How can I change it? I don't want to replace the dynamically inserted image with a hard-coded one because it would have to be done in every single document template.

Hi Tim,

In the IDM WordIn Settings under Tools Settings it has a default search location here.

By default it will most likely be /MDS_File[@MDS_Name="$id1"]

When the picture control is inserted you will see what is pulls by default also, Default will be /MDS_File[@MDS_Name="LogoMedium"]

Normally all of these images are saved in the IDM document type. As per your screen shot taken from the M3_File document type from the IDM.

Hi Aaron and thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

After fiddling with Word settings to enable the Developer tab I confirmed the path of the logo image. Now, where is that image stored and how do I change it?
