Using rowpointer to sync data?

Just curious, is the rowpointer the unique ID on pretty much every row of the datalake?

I'm looking into using ION to maybe stream certain CSD documents (OEET/OEEL/POET/POEL, etc…) by sending the json documents for those to a local server to ingest in our local SQL DB. Would the ingestion be based on the rowpointer?

rowpointer is unique but it's not in all tables. OEEH, OEEL, POEH and POEL do have a rowpointer.

It is best to use the business key for any objects.

Another option available, if you are ingesting to a PostgreSQL or Snowflake platform is streaming pipelines ( https://docs.infor.com/inforos/2024.x/en-us/useradminlib_cloud/default.html?helpcontent=datafabrug/jez1678807772006.html ). Stream Pipelines is an add-on license to Data Fabric. To access the feature, you must obtain the related SKU. Reach out to your Infor representative for more information.
