Hi,
We would like to have our employees designate beneficiaries via Employee Self-Service (ESS), but realized they are allowed to leave the page before ensuring the total percentage for both the primary and contingent designations total 100% respectively.
I noticed in the standard EmployeeBenefitContextEE form there is LPL created to alert when the total is less than 100%. The alert is working just fine. However, once the alert is acknowledged, the employee is not forced to remain on the page until the totals are 100%.
I also understand, we cannot force the percentage to be 100% when the designation is made, because employees can spread it out over multiple people. Example, 50% for Daughter, 50% for Son. That is why Infor has it as an alert and not a hard stop during the create action. Knowing this, I am trying to figure out if there is anyway to prevent the employee from leaving the page when the totals are not 100%.
Does anyone have an idea or know how to prevent someone from using the back arrow on the browser, or clicking another page if the 100% condition(s) has not been met?
