Modification of BODs within GHR to include additional fields

Is it possible to add or modify fields that are sent from Infor Global HR to ION?

Example: The Sync.Personnel BOD sent from Global HR does not contain any of the Employee's email or hire date.

Would this be something that can be added?

If not, what is best practice to get this information into ION when an employee record is updated so that it can be used in a workflow and sent via API to another non-Infor application?

Hi Brandon,

There are several ways how the BOD can be appended with additional information.

• From the GHR side, the information can be included in a BOD or a custom header ( https://docs.infor.com/inforos/latest/en-us/useradminlib_cloud/default.html?helpcontent=iondeskceug_cloud_osm/itp1569832497562.html ). But I am not sure if it can be done easily from GHR side.
• Using a Merge step ( https://docs.infor.com/inforos/latest/en-us/useradminlib_cloud/default.html?helpcontent=iondeskceug_cloud_osm/nqd1599132079704.html ) in ION's data flow. If there is an API that can be called and can return information about the Employee's email and hire date, then it can be added to the Sync.Personnel BOD.
• The same API can be called from a Workflow to retrieve necessary data.
