Set up ION workflow to trigger off of an Error BOD

I am trying to set up a workflow that will check for a specific document type appearing in the Error BODs. This document type is not labeled as a Sync document like I see in in some documentation suggesting it has to be.

Is there any way to accomplish my goal?

Can you provide an example of the ErrorBOD containing the type of document you are interested in?

Hello Justin - We found that you cannot trigger a Data Flow off of the Error BOD, but you can with a Monitor or Activation Policy. We have use the AP to condition off of what we need and then trigger a Workflow to do what we need. The BODID node is what we used to determine the type of BOD that we wanted to condition on. Your best bet is to review the Error bod for the particular values you want to condition off of and then use those. If you need further help, please provide a sample of your error BOD.

Update: So after digging into this, I found out that I can't use the "Error" document type in my activation policy because the Error bod does not contain the Original BOD ID.

I found out about the IONSERVICES/oneviewapi/data/documentPayload API endpoint and just need to provide the messageid to get what I am looking for.

Inside of ION > Configuration > Error Reporting… this sends me an email with the messageid that I am looking for. Is there a document type/chain of API's or any way to retrieve this messageid and feed it into a workflow?
