Hi, Since CFT client is managed in the Cloud, is there any way to retrieve a print file previously saved in PRINTS other than manually via MNS270 If this file is then to be processed automatically? Thanks
Please check below.
Yes - Thank you - I've learned about these APIs. But even so, this doesn't solve my problem, since the PRINTS directory I could reach when I installed CFT Client on a local post doesn't seem to be part of any of the folders listed by these APIs, unless I'm mistaken.
I hope you are referring to the Configurable XML files. In that case, you can route these files to a folder inside MvxFileTransfer and access them using these APIS.
Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I had indeed noted this setting in MNS216. But when using these APIs, as I hadn't anticipated the presence of the PRINTS directory, I thought the directory was necessarily a sub-directory of PRINTS. So I hadn't tried ...
Thanks for the clarification - I'll use your recommendation.
However, would it be possible to store the XML in a directory and send the corresponding pdf, for example by e-mail? In MNS204, it is only possible to reference a single service ID. Is there a trick to getting mixed output?
In any case, thanks for your help
in our case, we created two service accounts in MNS216 and pointed standard layouts to the normal one, and, route prints that require XMLs, and service ID with Commun type 2.
Sorry - I must have misspoken.😏
What I'd like is to be able to ensure that when a user starts printing a report, this simultaneously triggers the printing of their report in pdf format, which they receive by e-mail, and the dropping of the XML file from which the report was printed onto a directory accessible in a Cloud environment. The aim is to have this XML available for further processing. I know now how to configure each requirement individually, but I don't know how to "chain" the two.
Is it any clearer?
