Customer Order Hold work flow from XA

I want to drive an ION workflow when a hold is placed in XA and have someone review the hold and approve or reject the release of the hold.

I'm wondering if there is a BOD publishable out of XA that would be able to represent a Customer Order Hold. The SalesOrder BOD seems a natural choice, but it doesn't include the holds into the BOD. I understand that I can utilize a UserArea in the BOD, but when there are many holds possible, it seems this approach won't work, but I may be missing something.

I'm going down the path of using a PulseAlert out of XA with pertinent information using a subscription to generate a system-link "Notification Message" and sending that to ION.

I'm confident the PulseAlert will work, but I was hoping for a natural usage of the standard BODs.

    Basically, I'm wondering if there is an existing XA BOD that lists the holds that a CO has on it. From what I see a salesOrder BOD lists if the order is on hold or not, but it doesn't list the set of hold codes.
