How to update Amazon Corretto?

Birst Agents rely on Java JDK in the Amazon Corretto release. Agents are updated from within Birst, but there appears to be no automatic way to update Amazon Corretto and I have found no info around over the web. Does anybody have any specific advice on how to manage this topic?

I want to specify here that I have Amazon Corretto (and Agents) running on a Windows server. There's a thread on the subject at:

but that only applies to Linux.

Answering from memory, but I believe we always just downloaded a stable release of Corretto from the official site when we or Infor deemed necessary. In general, you wouldn't need to change anything on the agent unless your java home is pointing to the incorrect location/version, in which you could either change that in your windows environment or in the Birst agent bat file

    Hi Dan,

Thanks for your answer - however, "when deemed necessary" is a bit too erratic for me at the moment: I'd prefer to have some automatic procedure in place to keep Java always up to date to the latest stable release. That's possible with the standard JDK from Oracle (if I'm right) but doesn't seem so for Corretto.

(And thanks for the heads up on the .bat file. I have an Agent up and running but if I remember right I did rely on the environmental path for it to properly locate the right JDK.)
