Adding additional data to a existing data source

I am currently working as an intern, creating a dashboard for the Procurement department. There was already an existing dashboard, but it was incomplete. I am now trying to add more information to the data source, but I have been unsuccessful so far. Specifically, I am attempting to add the table "ln_whnwd210" to the source. This table shows items categorized as A, B, or C. However, I am currently unable to establish relationships with the existing source. Do you have any suggestions?

You've only extracted and published the source data to Birst. You need to model that raw data structure into the existing dimensional model. An understanding of the business requirements and the columns in the source to model that data properly in the current model. If you are new to Birst and/or dimensional modeling, having a one-on-one conversation is easier. The answer is more detailed than can be written in a post. Please send me an email (diane.mcelhiney@infor.com).

    Hi Binck,

When looking at your screen shot, I see you are trying to extract data in the Consumer space and try to make relations to objects that are present in the parent space. That will not work.

Please read the LN Analytics extension guide on how to add attributes to Infor dimensions. When you want to add measures to a fact table, we suggest to create a custom account. Do not change "existing" Infor delivered code. You may break functionality and you certainly will run into issues when "upgrading" to a higher LN Analytics version.

    Thanks,

    Johan
