Mongoose SyteLine Source Control?

Could anyone advise best practices, learning experiences, and/or tips and tricks to using source control in Mongoose?

Currently looking into using Subversion, since we don't have access to Team Foundation and GIT seems to be a PITA to setup and manage for a team.

What does INFOR use? Noting all the source comments in the SQL scripts, I'm thinking Subversion?
