Barcode reading from USB device into LN Cloud
Hello,
We are facing a curious situation where the user is missing part of barcode readings when he reads multiple barcodes in sequence.
He is running a LN session that has only one enabled field. The after.field event reads a table and show a message if the record exists, and inserts a record into this table if it does not exist.
Lets say he reads 2 barcode tags, 000000001 and 000000002.
The first reading brings "000000001", the second brings "00000".
I observed he executing the the readings (its very fast) on his LN FP7 WEB UI with no issues. When he does the same on a similar session on LN Cloud with LN UI, the issue occurs. Same workstation and USB scanner. FP7 running on Mozilla (Outdated version with Java) and LN Cloud running on Chrome and Edge.
This happens with many other sessions. The code is very simple and light, so we figure that the issue is not on the 4gl tools, but maybe with Windows x Browser x Application.
Have anyone experienced a similiar situation with LN or another Cloudsuite / web app?
